Join the Dolby Vision technology development team. A successful candidate will have an opportunity to create, improve and drive the development of the video technologies offered in various software form factors by Dolby Laboratories in the consumer devices (TV’s, Smartphones, Tablets etc.) and the Professional Software used by the most influential technology companies in the world. 

The role is part of the engineering team in Wroclaw, Poland, and provides opportunity to connect with other Dolby engineering and business entities in the USA and Germany. 

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive the Software engineering operations excellence at the Imaging team.

  • Design and implement efficient CI systems and solutions.

  • Develop and optimize the development and deployment of the platform technology components.

  • Work internationally to drive the implementation of the best operational solutions across the engineering organization.

 

Key Requirements: 

  • Familiarity with of source control management systems (i.e. Perforce, Gitlab, Github, Gerrit) and code branching/merging strategies.

  • Fluency in Git.

  • Hands-on experience in Gitlab CI or similar (i.e., GitHub Actions).

  • Practical experience in software package management systems.

  • Professional programming experience in scripting languages such as Python, Node.js.

  • Experience with managing on demand instances with AWS Technologies or similar (i.e. GCP, Azure).

  • Ability to communicate clearly and precisely, both orally and in writing.

  • Ability to work efficiently with other team members (Dev, QA). 

 

Nice to have: 

  • Experience in using Conan package manager. 

  • Expertise with setting up and maintenance of continuous integration agents: virtual and physical servers and embedded system boards.

  • Experience with operating System configuration and administration: Linux, Windows, Mac.

  • Experience with software that enables automatic provisioning and deployment like Docker and/or Ansible.
