As the Indirect Tax Manager, you will have the opportunity to be a crucial part of the finance organization. This role will assist the Tax Director, Domestic Tax with all indirect tax operations and strategies. We are a collaborative team of tax professionals, and you will find the company as an excellent place to work. We are looking for a seasoned indirect tax professional with good industry experience to enable the individual to jump right in and make a difference. This is a lead role within the indirect tax team; one that will offer the right person a great environment to sharpen their indirect tax skills, execute automation and process efficiency initiatives, and gain deep knowledge of the company’s operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the domestic sales, use tax and property tax compliance process..  Work with 3rd party co-sourcing vendors to file domestic returns.
• Preparation of Canadian GST and PST tax returns.
• Review month end accruals and reconciliations.
• Manage fixed assets process for property tax reporting.
• Project manage escheat reporting.
• Responsible for State annual information returns.
• Manage indirect tax audits .
• Research and respond to indirect tax related inquiries.
• Lead design and implementation of systems improvements and automation tools critical to efficiency gains and growth of the tax department.
• Point person for indirect tax guidance and support to internal business stake holders.
• Manage and maintain SOX compliance, desktop procedures and key controls.

Requirements:

• BS in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years of Indirect Tax experience in technology industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of VAT a plus.
• Good command of MS office Suites and experience with PowerBI.
• Knowledge of SAP financial applications, SAP Fixed Assets, and Vertex preferred. 
• Experience with automating indirect tax process flows.
• Flexible and adapts well to changing priorities.
• Good analytics, detail oriented and organized.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in a dispersed organization.
• Minimal business travel

The Atlanta Area base salary range for this full-time position is $106,500 - $159,500 which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
