The People and Places team designs spectacular experiences for people around the globe, curating the conditions for our talent to do their best work and drive business growth.

 

As a key member of the Global People Operations team, the Transformation Lead will spearhead initiatives that simplify, digitize, and optimize HR processes. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence and enhancing the employee experience through the integration of digital tools, automation, and AI. The Transformation Lead will collaborate across HR Centers of Excellence (Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Systems, Work Innovation), Legal, IT, Payroll, and Places to deliver scalable, efficient, and employee-centric solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply strategic thinking and experience in leveraging AI and automation to improve HR operations and the employee experience.
  • Build strong relationships with global and cross-functional teams to understand operational processes and develop solutions at the global, regional, or local level.
  • Lead cross-functional projects, including project team coordination, documentation, execution, and outcome measurement.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to assess the success of transformation initiatives.
  • Guide change management efforts to support the adoption of new tools and processes.
  • Enhance system and operational efficiency by designing and implementing end-to-end process frameworks and optimization strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, and implement risk mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Partner with the People Systems Team and external vendors to identify and implement appropriate technology solutions.
  • Provide support for ad hoc projects as needed.

 

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations.
  • Proven success in managing transformation and continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation and process optimization.
  • Experience with HRIS, HR Case Management, and HR Document Management Systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, OpenText).
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments, with strong attention to detail and structured execution.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to build consensus across global teams.
  • Experience in automating manual processes and implementing technology-driven solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address process improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork, transparency, and open communication.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, especially when handling confidential information and personally identifiable information (PII).
  • Experience working on global projects with geographically distributed teams.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones (US, Europe, Asia Pacific).
  • Ability to work from the Atlanta office at least twice a week.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) and/or process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma).

The Atlanta Area base salary range for this full-time position is $87,200 - $116,600, which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
