Are you passionate about helping people solve problems and love technology? Join our People (HR) Operations team and help deliver an exceptional employee experience through operational excellence, process improvement, and scalable people programs.
You will serve as a trusted operational partner responsible for supporting employee lifecycle processes across onboarding, employment changes, compliance, case management, workforce transitions, and employee inquiries. This role ensures accurate execution of people processes, maintains strong data integrity across HR systems, and partners closely with stakeholders across Benefits, People Business Partners, Payroll, Legal, Mobility, Recruiting, IT, and People Systems.
The ideal candidate combines strong operational discipline and attention to detail with a customer-service mindset and enjoys identifying opportunities to simplify work, improve processes, and leverage technology and automation to increase efficiency.
What you’ll do
- Employee Lifecycle Operations
- Manage and execute employee lifecycle transactions and operational processes, including new hires and onboarding, employment changes, transfers, terminations and offboarding
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee data across HR systems; monitoring data quality and resolving discrepancies
- Manage and resolve complex employee and manager inquiries through ServiceNow case management, serving as an escalation point for sensitive or high-impact matters.
- Document complex employment actions and agreements
- Ensure compliance with employment documentation, record retention, audit requirements, and applicable company policies.
- Support testing, enhancements, and process improvements in People systems
- Share knowledge and provide guidance to People Operations team members globally
- Project Management
- Partner directly with leaders and People (HR) business partners on planning and supporting employee separations, transfers, assignments, reorganizations, RIFs, M&A, and other complex employment actions
- Partner on and independently manage People Operations projects and workstreams, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring timely execution
- Manage trackers, employee records, documentation, approvals, and communications
- Operational Excellence and Automation
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual work, and improve employee experience
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, knowledge articles, and documentation
- Leverage AI, workflow automation, and digital tools to improve operational effectiveness
- Participate in cross-functional projects that enhance People Operations services and scalability
Required Experience/Skills
- Strong working knowledge of US employment laws and HR practices; ability to partner effectively across global People Operations processes
- Working knowledge of HR best practices (at least 5 years of HR experience)
- High-quality customer service while handling sensitive and confidential information
- Demonstrated ability to plan and manage projects and complex cases that span multiple weeks or months
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with employees at all levels verbally and in writing
- Experience supporting workforce transitions, reorganizations, reductions in force (RIFs), acquisitions, or other complex organizational changes
- Ability to independently complete work at a high level with minimal direction and with great attention to detail
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork, transparency, and open communication
- Resourcefulness with problem-solving, identifying root causes, and proposing solutions
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast change with an ability to adapt quickly and easily
- Technical expertise in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be able to work from the Dolby Atlanta office at least two days a week.
Preferred Experience/Skills
- Experience working in a global HR environment
- Experience with cloud-based HR systems, supporting self-service workflows (SuccessFactors ideal)
- Proficient with digital collaboration tools, including HR case management and knowledge base software (ServiceNow ideal)
- Exposure to process automation, workflow design, and AI-enabled operational tools

The Atlanta Area base salary range for this full-time position is $89,800 - $120,100, which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
