Senior SAP Basis Administrator

Summary:

The SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for maintaining the technical infrastructure of SAP systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. They will work closely with SAP functional teams and other IT support teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the SAP environment. They will need to co-ordinate upgrades and patching activity with the hosting partner.

Desired experience and requirements:

• • 8-10 years’ hands-on experience in SAP Basis
  • Administer and maintain SAP ECC (ERP Central Component) systems across development, quality, and production environments
  • Manage infrastructure, operating system, SQL Server database
  • Perform production support and incident resolution for SAP landscape
  • Perform system upgrades and patches to ensure the system is compliant
  • Coordinate with hosting partners and oversee system patches, upgrades, and maintenance activities, system refresh
  • Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Create and maintain technical documents, runbooks and procedures
  • Participate in change management processes
  • Handle transport management across system landscapes
  • Perform user administration, role management, and authorization concepts
  • Implement and maintain SAP notes
  • SAP certification is a plus
  • S4/HANA experience is a plus
  • Manage SAP platforms – ECC, PI GRC, SolMan, ChaRM, Vistex, BTP
  • Familiar with ECC integrations with Vertex, Paymetrics
  • Administration of SAP BTP tenant, user management, service provisioning, and monitoring
  • SAP Cloud Connector installation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Familiarity with Jira, Service-Now & Confluence is a plus.
