We are seeking a qualified and motivated candidate looking to take on a Salesforce and related applications development role within the IT Enterprise Application organization. This person will be a part of the Salesforce technical team contributing towards projects and production support activities across all functional areas within Salesforce.com and related applications.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for technical design and implementation of integrated Salesforce.com solutions and enhancements to existing application
• Follow Salesforce.com development standards and perform peer code reviews.
• Manage and monitor the integration of Salesforce.com based solutions with other applications
• Work independently and in collaboration with IT BSAs, Application Integration, Application Management Services (AMS) and IT Infrastructure teams to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Use analytical and technical skills to translate business and functional requirements into cohesive technical specifications
• Adhere to quality management best practices such as thorough testing of application updates, changes, or patches in a non-production environment and observe Change Management policies and procedures.
• Manage tasks and deliverables of partner support resources (in different time zones) to ensure optimum utilization.
• Engage with Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) to ensure business application systems are developed in a way that complies with business requirements.
• Provide estimates for the programming and unit testing activities of a project or request when needed.
• Proactively identify performance bottlenecks in technical areas, propose and carry out program optimization and tuning.
• Optimize existing Salesforce configurations and code to improve efficiency and leverage out-of-the-box functionality.
• Stay up-to-date on new Salesforce releases and best practices.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain high quality standards.
• Perform unit testing and troubleshoot issues to ensure application stability.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the Salesforce platform.
• Work independently, and in a team environment, and provide development support in an onsite/offshore model.
• Apply continuous learning and research to acquire knowledge in new technologies introduced by Salesforce and partner ecosystem.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences or related field.
• Ability to articulate and document technical concepts.
• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging and technical support skills and the ability to quickly identify the root cause of application issues.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology application development experience.
• 5+ years’ experience designing, developing and administering Salesforce.com solutions.
• Experience with interfaces and integration between Salesforce and other systems/applications.
• Strong experience in design, develop, and implement custom applications, features, and solutions using Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, Web Services, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Extensive knowledge and experience of the force.com technical platform including custom LWC, Apex controllers, test classes, Visualforce pages, triggers, batch Apex, custom objects, Flows, workflow business rules, dynamic dashboards and Lightning Experience.
• Experience with other Force.com platform applications and other related applications like Apttus, Docusign, etc. is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of SaaS development processes and methodologies.
• Knowledge of SSO and security protocols required for cloud solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to organize information and processes in a logical and efficient manner.
• Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Expected to ramp up to new technical skills and products and execute prototypes rapidly.
• Salesforce.com certification is preferred.
