Role Summary

Join the Enterprise Analytics Team, the strategic hub for enterprise-wide data initiatives. We align data efforts with business goals, drive execution, and enforce governance. As part of this team, you’ll help establish the Enterprise Data Program Management Office (EDPMO) to oversee data initiatives across the organization and transform raw data into clean, well-documented datasets that empower business users to answer their own questions. Key Responsibilities:

 

Enterprise Data Program Office

  • Build and lead the EDPMO to manage data initiatives across the organization.
  • Align projects with business priorities, allocate resources, and manage funding.
  • Lead business process modeling, data flow and logic data modeling facilitations and documentation
  • Track program performance and ROI using KPIs and value metrics.
  • Drive adoption and cultural change through effective change management.

Center of Excellence

  • Identify cross-functional data opportunities that deliver measurable business value.
  • Define and promote best practices, tools, and metrics for project management.
  • Ensure consistency and accountability across Business Operations Data Product Teams.

Data Engineering

  • Design, build, and maintain data models and foundational datasets.
  • Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for diverse data sources.
  • Use distributed frameworks (e.g., Spark) for high-volume, low-latency processing.

Collaboration & Governance

  • Act as a liaison between Business Operations, Data Product Teams, Platform Engineering, Security, and Tech Ops.
  • Partner with teams to migrate structured and unstructured data into modern platforms.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience:
  • Proven 7+ years of experience in enterprise data program management, project management, governance, and analytics.
  • Strong use and knowledge of data platforms, metadata standards, and security protocols.
  • Strong use and knowledge of Databricks Unity Catalog and familiarity with SAP Business Warehouse.
  • Technical Skills:
    • 5+ years in data engineering with large-scale pipelines and distributed processing.
    • Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and optimization.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python preferred).
    • Experience with Spark and modern Lakehouse architecture.
    • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
  • Leadership & Communication:
    • Ability to lead and influence stakeholders and mentor data engineers and stewards.
    • Excellent leadership, collaboration and communication skills across technical and business teams.
    • Highly skilled in change management and cultural transformation.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, data science, information systems, or related field.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Strong project planning, scheduling, and resource management abilities.
  • Expertise in risk management and budgeting.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
  • Certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum are a plus.
