Dolby's office in Barcelona has strong audio Research and Development teams, specialized in spatial audio, AI and signal processing for professional and consumer applications. As an intern, you will join the Research team to develop innovative AI solutions for spatial audio recording and rendering algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Design and train deep neural networks for spectral spatial audio processing.
• Prepare datasets using data augmentation techniques.
• Collaborate with the research group in Barcelona on related tasks.
• Present the results internally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or similar.
• Enrolled in a Master or PhD program on related subjects for the entire duration of the internship (Summer 2024)
• The candidate is expected to work at least part of the time on-site, in the Barcelona office.
• Knowledge of signal processing applied to audio.
• Expertise in AI applied to audio, with hands-on experience in at least one deep learning framework in Python.
• Solid mathematical background.
• Python programming skills.
• Good communication skills

Highly desired

• Experience in research.
• Master degree in any of the aforementioned subjects.
• Knowledge of spatial audio.
