As an Integrated Marketing Communication Manager, based in Beijing, you will be pivotal in our APAC team, developing Dolby-enabled and Dolby-created content and executing marketing campaigns with the content. Your work will resonate across passion points such as movies and shows, sports, music, gaming, and UGC. You will be a key member to drive integrated marketing campaigns, primarily focusing on social and digital platforms with potentials to extend to offline opportunities.

 

What you’ll do 

  • Lead, manage, and deliver Dolby’s creative content design and production in the region.

 

  • Work with the global content team as well as the local Marketing leaders to come up with the China marketing campaign strategy. This will require understanding of the local ecosystems and how Dolby can leverage content for the Global or Local story.

 

  • Manage creative agencies to bring industry-leading creative content to Dolby in China with a potential to extend to Dolby’s APAC region and even globally.

 

  • Create compelling consumer stories and campaigns with a fresh, innovative approach to design and creativity.

 

  • Drive the creative process from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.

 

  • Plan, lead, and manage integrated marketing campaigns with Dolby-created content at the core through direct collaboration with cross functional leaders across marketing and business.

 

  • Work closely with the upstream content ecosystem, content creators and service providers to help create and demonstrate the Dolby difference in content creation & distribution.

 

  • Adapt global creative strategies to meet regional needs while maintaining overall brand consistency.

 

  • Put the spirit of the work and the team first, demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, and embrace innovative, boundary-pushing approaches.

 

  • Be hands-on with the willingness to be on-site in an editing suite, at a video/photo shoot, in Photoshop, and in the trenches with the team.

 

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, both local and international, integrating them into the creative process where relevant.

 

Requirements and Skills

  • 6-8 years of experience in a similar marketing communication role, with a strong portfolio in marketing campaign management, creative production and brand development.

 

  • A seasoned and hands-on marketer with strong business acumen.

 

  • Comprehensive experience in project management for marketing campaigns.

 

  • Experience directing external vendors, including agencies and individual freelancers.

 

  • Excellent working knowledge of design and content software, for both videos and graphics.

 

  • Strong ability to conceptualize core creative, tell stories, oversee script, talent, edit, post-produce, etc.

 

  • Ability to convey complex concepts clearly, motivating and adapting communication styles to different audiences.

 

  • Possess a fresh and future-forward eye for design, willing to take risks and experiment creatively.

 

  • Self-starter who can take the seed of an idea and translate it into actionable creative strategy and marketing campaigns.

 

  • Strong interest in movies, TV, gaming, music, and/or UGC, with a capacity to drive projects that resonate with these industries.

 

  • Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English for presenting work and giving feedback.

 

  • Strong attention to detail.

 

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

 

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results and continuous improvement.

 

  • Experience working for international companies is a plus.
