Summary Description:

We are searching for an IT Infrastructure Analyst in Beijing that will be able to support our business within the office and in other Dolby offices around the world. In this position, you will be part of the IT Global Infrastructure organization providing onsite engineering, maintenance, support, and implementation services to the organization. You will communicate with local stakeholders and ensure delivery of services and support is meeting local expectations base on task requirement. You will maintain, coordinate administer, and troubleshoot server and network operations on a day-to-day basis. In this role you be responsible for monitoring the IT Core Infrastructure queue, and assign tickets as needed. You will also be responsible to independently run small IT projects, including scope project plans, provide guidance to other team members and support wider initiatives. This position reports directly to the IT Manager, Global Infrastructure.

 

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure to exhibit strong end-to-end troubleshooting skills for system, network or application.
  • Provide support to VmWare hypervisors/Windows Server 2012+/Linux, and AD infrastructure.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade the various infrastructure systems including servers, networks, other systems as necessary.
  • Provide foundational level support for IT Infrastructure Service delivery to the corporate end user according to service level commitments, corporate policy, corporate standards, and compliance requirements including:
    • Service Request Fulfillment
    • Incident Management
    • Problem Management
    • Access Management
    • Change Management
  • Meets or beats service level commitments as defined by management team.
    • Maintains infrastructure services on a day-to-day basis. Assists in maintenance of 99%+ up-time for Infrastructure systems
    • Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives 
  • Maintains a good level of customer satisfaction

 

 

Requirements:

Minimum 3+ years of professional business experience in IT infrastructure administration, where your primary job function and responsibilities included the following areas:

 

  • Solid network administratration skills: LAN, WAN, wireless, and remote access
  • Support Server virtualization on premisses and on Infrastructure as a Services (VMWare and instances as Azure and AWS)
  • Basic knowledge of Storage platforms (SAN and NAS)
  • Basic knowledge to operate Backup and Recovery
  • Basic support of Data center systems (local and Co-located)
  • Administrative services, ticket management, and operations maintenance
  • Server, storage, backup, and hosting infrastructure implementation, maintenance, support, and basic vendor engagement
  • IT Security implementation as directed by the IT Security team
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required
  • Good written and verbal business communication skills
  • Good analytical skills, ability to research and test solutions, good planning and project coordination skills

 

 

Job Expectations:

  • Travel for business as required
  • Occasionally work during odd hours to support project go-lives or coordinate with team member in other time zones for critical projects
  • Performs duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
  • Performs tasks necessary to complete performance objectives
