Summary Description

Responsible for providing technical support to PC audio licensed products. Daily responsibilities include PC speaker tuning, new feature performance evaluation, customer-reported issue analysis, and communication with PC OEM/ODM customers to gather requirements and industrial intelligence, which will be fed back to the internal product management and engineering team. This role requires strong self-motivation, a results-oriented mindset, and excellent execution capabilities.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Perform PC speaker tuning using Dolby tuning tools for PCs integrated with Dolby licensed technologies.
  • Collaborate with the Account Manager to manage customer expectations in a rational and effective manner.
  • Complete training provided by the PC engineering team to master the installation of Dolby’s PC licensed software and log collection. With this experience, identify whether a PC’s audio processing functions as designed or contains anomalies; reproduce identified issues, collect relevant logs, and escalate to the engineering team for further troubleshooting.
  • Build and maintain close relationships with customer teams, promptly understand customer requirements, discern the logical context behind customer needs, identify toot causes of problems, and develop action plans. These plans may require cross-collaboration between external customer teams and internal departments to resolve issues efficiently.

 

Education, Skills, Abilities, and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with over 6 years of professional technical experience.
  • Proven experience in PC speaker tuning or related audio domain work.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, rapid learning ability, a results-driven attitude, and strong execution skills.
  • Proficient in cross-team collaboration with excellent communication and coordination capabilities ( a core daily work requirement).
  • Preferred: Work experience in PC OEM/ODM companies focusing on acoustic and/or audio components.
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of audio product applications and design.
  • Preferred: Experience with IC-based or firmware-based audio processing.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with the Microsoft WHQL certification process.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English (mandatory for cross-border communication).
