Based in Beijing, the Digital Manager reports into the Senior PR Manager and works closely with the China Marketing team and global digital/content/social teams as well as multiple business teams in China and at the Headquarters. In this role, you will continue to learn, hone in on and expand your skills in digital media. You will have the opportunity to help further shape Dolby’s digital presence in China and help manage the journey that drives customers through this ecosystem.


You will work closely with senior staff members both in China and globally, in planning, analyzing and evaluating information for digital projects and programs. Your work will join you with a great team for larger projects, but you’ll also need to work independently to exercise your skills of independent judgment to successfully complete tasks.



Essential Job Functions:

  • Impact results by developing and executing digital programs and campaigns focused around Dolby’s China business
  • Plan for and develop creative content to tell compelling Dolby stories to consumers and the industry through support from agencies
  • Manage Dolby’s media buy campaigns on digital/social platforms
  • Manage the maintenance and renovation of Dolby’s digital platforms including the China website and the mini app through support from agencies
  • Help provide insight into key trends in digital and monitor and provide insight into competitors’ digital programs and campaigns
  • Participle in brainstorming, strategy and planning sessions
  • Help deliver plans and reports



Education, Skills, Abilities, and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • 6-8 years of related experience
  • Strong skills in managing digital platforms
  • Experience in digital, social, advertisement or marketing
  • Excellent sense in creative content both text and visual
  • Excellent English skills, both speaking and writing
  • Agency experience is a plus
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Digital media savvy
  • Ability to explain complex ideas simply and concisely
  • Storytelling chops – know how to tell an irresistible story
  • Interest in consumer technology and/or the entertainment industry including films, games, and/or music is a major plus
