The Senior Partner Marketing Manager shall be responsible for the implementation and execution of partner marketing programs to create the brand awareness, to increase purchasing intention in the local market and to deliver Dolby’s key messaging consistently across all regions. This is a generalist position and as a member of the larger team may focus on the work in one or a combination of the following market segments:

 

- Home Entertainment, Mobile, PC

- E-Media, Gaming, Music

 

The primary goal of this position is to drive effective implementation of programs to achieve brand stickiness regionally.

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain engagement with global and regional key strategic partners, including hosting periodic marketing meetings.

• Effectively implement and manage strategic partner marketing programs focused on Dolby’s technologies with key partners.

• Provide insights to Global Marketing Team on the unique needs of geographic markets.

• Support the Global Marketing Team with regional inputs on events, trade shows, co-marketing opportunities etc. and indicate prioritization based on impact on business.

• Assist with key messaging on Dolby value proposition, to improve the overall effectiveness of marketing programs.

• Work with customers and business partners to maximize Dolby’s position in the local marketplace.

• Provide input on regional marketing strategy and drive the relevant marketing programs to support the business growth in the local market.

• Review outgoing written materials including articles and other marketing collateral to ensure appropriate messaging.

• Maintain close and regular communication with Sales organization.

• Drive marketing communications activities including geo led tradeshows and consumer facing campaigns in the region.

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Engagement with strategic partners on marketing (70%)

• Involvement and participation in marketing communications activities such as proofreading, review of localization materials, etc. (15%)

• Program/Event execution (15%)

• Provide input for Global Marketing planning and local execution

 

 

Requirements:

• Min 5-8 years’ experience developing and implementing partner marketing programs or/and PR program within an international (or region/country-specific) environment.

• Good understanding of Dolby products & technology – deep knowledge of relevant market segments.

• Good geography marketing skills set, including understanding of cultural nuances.

• Excellent communications skills, with competency in at least one other language and English (both in verbal/written)

• Strong project management, communications and relationship building skills.

• Good understanding of all corporate marketing, including promotions, advertising, marketing communications and public relations.

• Learning ability and learning wiliness on other industries.

• Ability to influence, convince and win over audience in sensitive situations.
