We are looking for an Intern to join our Dolby Institute team, our initiative to help creatives advance the art of storytelling. The mission of the Dolby Institute is to inspire and educate the next generation of content creators to bring their dreams to life, in Dolby. Our core values are to enable, inspire, educate, and amplify human stories from new voices that need to be heard. 



  • Support the Dolby Institute Content Manager on the relaunch of our Dolby Institute podcast and Dolby Talks series, with tasks to include scheduling program recording sessions, managing digital assets, reviewing edits, writing program descriptions
  • Support the Dolby Institute Content Manager with posting Institute content on Dolby's digital and social channels, coordinating efforts between the Institute team and Dolby's social media/PR teams 
  • Support the Dolby Institute Technical Manager on outreach programs to universities and film schools, with tasks to include curriculum distribution, outreach contact, and production tasks with demonstration videos and materials 
  • Support the Dolby Institute Director on the formation of new education outreach projects, and research for podcast conversations and Dolby Talks 



  • Strong written communications skills
  • Comfort level with speaking to all levels of staff and management
  • Interest in consumer technology and/or the entertainment industry including movies, music, and games
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Photoshop, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Ability to track projects and deliverables in Miro and Airtable (training available)



  • Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Due to COVID-19, recent grads who are within 1 year of graduation are also eligible to apply
  • Must be available to work remotely and full-time Monday – Friday for 6 months between January 2021 – July 2021
