SUMMARY
The Music Studio Enablement intern will provide support to Dolby’s Music Partnerships and Studio Enablement teams with regard to Dolby Atmos music mixing studio room designs, reviews, and approvals. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibility will be in support of Dolby’s Music Studio Enablement. This may include room plan creation, review of customer submitted plans and designs, as well as customer consultations 
If needed, support the Music Partnerships team with special projects, and consultations. This might include customer site visits, audio signal flow design work, equipment preparation and shipping etc.

Prepare time logs and reports of work performed as required

 

QUALIFICATIONS
Some background in and a willingness to learn various aspects of audio equipment and signal flow. This includes audio processors, amplifiers, routing, and computer networking 
A working knowledge with programs such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, AutoCAD/Sketchup, and Microsoft Visio/Omnigraffle 
Good interpersonal and communication skills to represent Dolby in a professional manner and interface at all levels including technical and business both internally and externally 
Ability to think and act strategically with good problem solving and analytical skills 
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment 
Have the ability to prioritize work, and to work to deadlines
Passionate for music and experience with music production and music studios encouraged


ELIGIBILITY
Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Audio Production, Audio Engineering, Acoustic Design or a related field
Due to COVID-19, recent grads who are within 1 year of graduation are also eligible to apply
Must be available to work remotely and full-time Monday – Friday for 6 months between January 2021 - June 2021
