SUMMARY
This intern position is in our Cinema Business Group (CBG) team. The Studio Relations intern will play a supportive role in our business process. Our team is responsible for working with all the major film studios in securing various marketing opportunities to promote the films in our technologies and cinema experiences. This intern will gain experience in developing, managing and executing the strategy for integrated and brand focused initiatives, as well as brand marketing analysis and competitive analysis. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research competitive landscape in each global market where Dolby Cinemas sites are located
  • Work with Studio Relations and Geo teams to track and report brand activities, digital marketing and social channels for our competitors to create a comprehensive report
  • Prepare title marketing examples to tie to box office recaps
  • Expand currently tracked lists of top 50 Director’s, Cinematographers and creatives by domestic box office
  • Studio budget recaps and report gathering
  • Box folder organization and management for film titles
  • Manage departments calendars and schedule meetings This intern will work closely with the corporate marketing team in addition to partnering with the global marketing team, including PR, social, digital, creative, research/insights and geo-marketing teams

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Solid written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Well versed in creating pitch decks/recap reports
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • General administrative duties/support including filing, meeting organization, etc
  • Experience and/or coursework in marketing, communications and/or media
  • Strong work ethic
  • Highly-organized, attention to detail and collaborative
  • Interest in consumer technology and/or the entertainment industry including films a plus
  • Invoice/PO processing
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and presentation software programs


ELIGIBILITY

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or a related field
  • Due to COVID-19, recent grads who are within 1 year of graduation are also eligible to apply
  • Must be available to work remotely and full-time Monday – Friday for 3 months between January 2021 - April 2021
