The Content Operations role sits at the intersection of Social, Digital, CRM, and Regional Marketing teams to bring structure, intelligence, and scalability to Dolby’s global content ecosystem. This role owns the Global Content Calendar and the operational infrastructure that enables content to flow efficiently across digital/social channels and markets.
A core expectation of this role is the active use of AI-powered tools and automation to modernize how content is planned, coordinated, optimized, and activated. This role is responsible not just for managing timelines, but for designing intelligent workflows that reduce manual effort, increase visibility, improve reuse, and enable more connected customer journeys.
This role does not own creative direction or channel strategy. Instead, it serves as the orchestration layer that connects teams, systems, and execution.
Global Content Calendar & Planning Infrastructure Ownership
- Own and operate Dolby’s Global Content Calendar as the centralized planning system across Global + Regional Social, Digital, and CRM teams.
- Establish governance, standards, and operating cadence for how teams contribute to and use the calendar.
- Design scalable planning frameworks that support campaign launches, always-on programs, and regional activations.
- Apply automation and AI-assisted planning tools to improve visibility, conflict detection, sequencing, and readiness tracking.
AI-Enabled Workflow Design & Orchestration
- Design and operationalize AI-assisted workflows that support content planning, tagging, metadata generation, summarization, sequencing, and cross-channel coordination.
- Develop shared prompt frameworks, templates, and playbooks that standardize AI usage across teams and regions.
- Partner with Digital and Platform teams to integrate AI capabilities into content planning and orchestration systems.
- Continuously evaluate emerging tools and capabilities to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
Cross-Channel Content Orchestration
- Act as the operational bridge between Global Social, Digital, CRM, and Regional Marketing teams.
- Align campaign timelines, launch sequencing, and channel activation plans across the ecosystem.
- Identify opportunities for coordinated storytelling, content reuse, and cross-channel amplification.
- Ensure channel requirements and dependencies are addressed early in planning cycles.
Automation & Operational Scalability
- Identify and implement lightweight automation across planning, coordination, and reporting workflows using AI-enabled and no-code tools.
- Reduce manual coordination overhead by streamlining intake, approvals, readiness tracking, and handoffs.
- Build repeatable operational models that scale across markets and channels.
Activation Readiness & Distribution Alignment
- Partner with channel owners to ensure assets are delivered in the right formats, structures, and timelines.
- Support go-live readiness by validating publishing schedules, dependencies, and handoff requirements.
- Enable modular content distribution and reuse across platforms.
Content Intelligence & Continuous Optimization
- Use AI-assisted analysis to identify patterns across content planning, performance signals, cadence, and utilization.
- Translate insights into operational improvements and planning optimizations.
- Track orchestration health metrics such as lead time, asset reuse, calendar accuracy, and cross-channel activation rates.
Responsible AI & Governance Partnership
- Partner with Legal, IT, and IT Security to ensure responsible and compliant use of AI tools.
- Establish guardrails and best practices for AI usage within content workflows.
- Help socialize ethical and operational standards across teams.
The San Francisco/Bay Area & Los Angeles Area hourly rate range for this position is $55-$75, which can vary if outside these locations. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
