The Marketing department creates passion and relevance for the "Dolby Difference" driving sell-in and sell-thru of Dolby enabled devices, services, content, and experiences across multiple constituents – partners, creators, consumers, and developers.
Overview
Dolby is seeking a Global Digital Content and Experiences Lead to define and scale the global content strategy, content architecture, and audience journey frameworks across Dolby’s owned digital platforms and experiences. This role shapes how Dolby shows up across the ecosystem, establishing clear standards for content structure, governance, activation, and performance across web, native applications, email, and emerging digital touchpoints. Working in close partnership with Digital Product, CRM, Social, Creative, and Regional Marketing teams, this individual will build scalable frameworks and operating models that enable consistent global execution while supporting local market needs. Blending strategic leadership with operational oversight, this role ensures Dolby’s owned digital experiences are cohesive, discoverable, performance-driven, and future-ready.
Responsibilities
Global Content Architecture & Experience Frameworks
- Define and evolve Dolby’s global content strategy across owned digital platforms.
- Establish global content architecture, modular page models, storytelling frameworks, and publishing guardrails that guide how digital experiences are structured.
- Develop audience journey design principles that connect discovery, engagement, and conversion across owned channels.
- Create scalable governance models, editorial standards, taxonomy structures, and localization guardrails that guide regional execution.
- Ensure content systems support modularity, reuse, and consistency across markets.
- Align digital content strategy with broader marketing objectives and brand positioning.
- Integrate SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) insights into editorial planning to ensure discoverability across traditional and AI-driven search experiences.
- Shape content structures optimized for AI-driven discovery and generative search environments.
Global-to-Regional Governance & Enablement
- Serve as the global authority on content structure, editorial governance, journey design principles, and cross-channel activation frameworks across owned digital platforms.
- Translate strategy into clear documentation, playbooks, and operational standards that regional teams can adapt and implement.
- Develop training and enablement programs to scale best practices globally.
- Partner with regions to balance global consistency with local market needs.
- Monitor adoption of global standards and identify areas for refinement.
Cross-Channel Orchestration & Activation Models
- Define integrated activation frameworks that connect social discovery, CRM engagement, and owned digital experiences into cohesive customer journeys.
- Provide strategic oversight for digital activation of global campaigns across web, email, and applications.
- Align shared content pillars, creative assets, and messaging frameworks across channels.
- Identify structural inefficiencies in digital activation workflows and implement improvements to streamline global-to-regional execution.
Performance Strategy, Insights & Optimization
- Define KPI frameworks and performance measurement standards across global digital programs.
- Partner with Analytics to establish dashboards and reporting cadences that drive actionable insights.
- Lead experimentation strategies including A/B testing frameworks and structured optimization programs.
- Translate performance insights into strategic refinements that improve content relevance, engagement, and conversion.
- Monitor organic visibility, keyword performance, and AI-driven discovery signals to inform ongoing content evolution.
Digital Product & Platform Partnership
- Partner with the Digital Product and Platform teams to define content and experience requirements that inform platform roadmap priorities.
- Represent marketing and audience experience needs in roadmap planning discussions.
- Ensure platform evolution supports modular content systems, governance standards, and scalable global publishing workflows.
- Advocate for capabilities that enable personalization, experimentation, localization, and performance optimization.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, content strategy, or digital experience leadership, with a proven track record of building and scaling global programs.
- Deep expertise in content architecture, including modular page design, taxonomy development, editorial governance, and publishing standards across owned digital platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to define audience journey frameworks that connect discovery, engagement, and conversion across web, email, and native applications.
- Experience developing global-to-regional operating models -- translating strategy into playbooks and enablement programs that regional teams can adopt and adapt.
- Strong command of SEO fundamentals and familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI-driven search environments.
- Experience partnering with Digital Product and Platform teams on roadmap planning, with the ability to represent marketing and audience experience requirements in technical conversations.
- Proficiency defining KPI frameworks, working with analytics teams to build performance dashboards, and translating data into strategic action.
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing, experimentation programs, and structured optimization workflows.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams spanning Creative, CRM, Social, and Regional Marketing without direct authority.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear documentation, standards, and governance frameworks for global audiences.
- Experience working in a matrixed, global organization with regional market complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
The Los Angeles Area base salary range for this full-time position is $153,000 - 210,000, which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
