The Marketing department creates passion and relevance for the "Dolby Difference" driving sell-in and sell-thru of Dolby enabled devices, services, content, and experiences across multiple constituents – partners, creators, consumers, and developers.

 

Position Overview:

 

We are seeking a strategic and globally minded Senior Manager, Global Digital Communications to lead the editorial direction, user experience, and content strategy for Dolby.com. This role ensures our most visible owned platform reflects Dolby’s brand consistently and impactfully across regions, languages, and business categories.
You will help transform Dolby.com into a globally unified and locally relevant storytelling destination—bridging global campaigns with regional needs. The role calls for someone who understands how to scale editorial strategy while honoring cultural nuances and market-specific priorities.

 

This is an opportunity for a seasoned digital leader with experience managing platform transformation across markets. The ideal candidate will be adept at leading global content operations, aligning teams across time zones, and enabling regional teams to succeed within a shared framework. Your work will directly shape how Dolby’s story is experienced by creators, consumers, partners, and media around the world.

 

This role reports to the Head of Global Digital and Social Communications and collaborates closely with regional marketing leads, digital platform and CRM teams, and creative stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

 

Global Digital Strategy and Editorial Leadership

  • Lead the front-end strategy of Dolby.com, establishing a unified editorial direction that scales across regions and business categories
  • Define global content architecture and frameworks that promote consistency in navigation, storytelling, and user experience
  • Collaborate with regional teams to co-develop content models and page structures that meet local needs while maintaining global cohesion

 

Cross-Regional Content Planning and Campaign Support

  • Translate Dolby’s global brand campaigns into structured web experiences adaptable to multiple markets
  • Partner with international stakeholders to prioritize homepage features, campaign hubs, and regional landing pages
  • Align content plans across time zones to support product launches, brand milestones, and local initiatives

 

Consumer Journey Mapping

  • Design seamless digital journeys across business verticals to support global awareness, engagement, and conversion
  • Integrate CRM, social, and campaign elements into a unified global user experience
  • Ensure site content supports Dolby’s presence across cinema, music, gaming, automotive, home entertainment, and B2B

 

Governance and Enablement

  • Establish governance systems including templates, editorial workflows, and localization standards
  • Develop tools and calendars that enhance visibility into global and regional content pipelines
  • Provide strategic guidance to regional marketers and business units to support effective contributions to Dolby.com

 

Key Performance Indicators

  • Website engagement and retention across global and regional audiences
  • SEO performance, content discoverability, and visibility in large language model (LLM) outputs across multiple languages
  • Homepage and landing page effectiveness aligned with campaign and business goals
  • CRM integration and downstream engagement (e.g., click-throughs, sign-ups, partner inquiries)

 

Qualifications

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in digital content strategy, UX storytelling, or editorial management, with a focus on global implementation
  • Experience managing digital platforms or web ecosystems for an international brand
  • Familiarity with CMS tools, SEO best practices, web publishing workflows, and localization processes

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to connect long-term vision to tactical execution

The Burbank/LA Area base salary range for this full-time position is $149,000 - 204,000, which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
