Summary

 

We have one placement for the 2023/2024 academic year at Dolby Europe Ltd in the Commercial Partnerships Strategic Projects Team, which defines and implements programmes to boost the effectiveness of sales and commercial teams worldwide. The intern will be supporting a broad range of sales and marketing initiatives including management of the sales enablement portal and development of digital customer engagement. It provides a great opportunity to get exposure to a wide variety of Dolby entertainment business areas, including Living Room, Automotive, Mobile, Gaming, PC and Music.The placement is based at Dolby’s Central London office with flex work. The role will have a hybrid mix of working in the office and working independently from home.

 

The successful candidate will gain experience in:

  • Managing a portal of presentations and other tools to support commercial teams in explaining the value brought by Dolby technologies and solutions
  • Developing video assets and other materials to support commercial partnerships teams
  • Planning and execution of industry events
  • Planning and execution of an annual commercial team conference with global participation
  • Sales channel design and implementation
  • B2B digital campaigns and email marketing
  • Market research
  • Collaboration with commercial partnerships, marketing and engineering teams
  • Collaboration with other Dolby global offices

 

Qualifications:

  • A genuine interest in audio video technology
  • Experience of content production (video, web)
  • Experience of managing Sharepoint site or similar collaboration tools
  • A genuine interest in digital marketing and social media
  • A good understanding of the marketing mix (on and offline)
  • A good understanding of sales/marketing funnel principles
  • Familiarity with the use of CRM systems
  • Excellent writing skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work autonomously (remote if required) and a pro-active, hands-on attitude
  • Ability to organise own workloads and prioritise as required
  • Fluent in English, additional language is a plus  

 

Whilst being an integral part of the team, the successful candidate will also need to be able to work with minimal supervision. We would be very interested in hearing from students with related experience, who are looking for an exciting and rewarding placement this year.

 

Applicants should be an undergraduate passionate about entertainment who is in their second or third year of studying marketing, business or a similar subject. Alternatively this may suit an audio/video technology undergraduate with a strong interest in commercial and marketing aspects.
