Based in Munich, the Senior Marketing Specialist is a member of the Europe Geo Marketing Team and reports into the Senior Marketing Manager for Nordics and Automotive and support business teams within Dolby global networks. This position will work closely with Dolby’s automobile commercial partners, global entertainment leaders and pioneering innovators to promote the cutting-edge and next generation Dolby in-car experience & technology to millions of consumers.

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative marketer to join Dolby. The ideal candidate will have a passion for entertainment and automotive, a strong ability to research and identify market trends, and the skills to develop and execute effective marketing strategies across various entertainment categories.

 

The role is a mix of on site and remote work and requires domestic and international travel.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support B2B and B2C campaigns across digital, retail, and content partners.
  • Creation of B2C & B2B marketing assets and merchandise.
  • Involvement in local social channels management and CRM.
  • Planning and execution of virtual and physical B2B and B2C marketing events (tradeshows/festivals/training).
  • Collaboration with Dolby’s internal stakeholders (ex: Sales, Engineering, US HQ, other European offices…).
  • Partner marketing and managing relationships with 3rd party partners across retail/content services/manufacturers with a clear focus on the automotive industry.
  • Creation of performance / ROI reports. 
  • Ensure Dolby brand preeminence & consistency in the market.
  • Competition and trends watch, desktop market research.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent in related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in the Automotive industry.
  • Experience in digital marketing and social media.
  • A good understanding of the marketing mix (on and offline).
  • Ability to manage multiple marketing efforts in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Passion for collaborating with customers and partners to develop mutually beneficial marketing programs.
  • Collaborative, articulate, strong communicator who can build strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • Naturally curious and keen to learn about new business areas.
  • A genuine interest in entertainment, technology, marketing, and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent writing skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously (remote if required) and a pro-active, hands-on attitude.
  • Fluent in English and German, any other European language is a plus.  
  • Role involves frequent travel.
