Dolby is bringing the sensational Dolby Vision experience from the cinema into cars. We are hiring for our Systems team, which ensures the intended end-user experience by identifying system-level requirements and developing the according test suites for the integration of our Dolby Vision technologies in automotive entertainment systems and vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Know the experience: Design and implement system-level requirements and test cases to ensure perfect video experiences in cars. 
  • Know our licensees: Expand our set of test methods, tools, and automation to optimize customer experience. 
  • Shape the experience: Set up and conduct audio-visual experiments for early technology investigations. 

 

To enable you for these responsibilities, we help you to build up detailed understanding of our customer products as well as their implementation and verification processes, in order to build deliverables that can be easily integrated and ensure best Dolby Vision experiences. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Media Technology or equivalent. 
  • You are interested in film and/or music, and consumer experience matters to you. 
  • You familiar with digital video technology and with the according concepts and challenges. 
  • You have some hands-on experience with audio or video systems. 
  • You have experience in programming languages like Python or Java. 
  • You enjoy systemic thinking and have a high-quality mindset. 
  • You have an agile but structured working style and enjoy working in a high-performing team. 
  • You are a shaper and a finisher. 
  • You have excellent communication skills in English. 

 

The position is hybrid, lab access is needed for an essential part of the work.
