Currently Dolby seeks an individual to lead the Market Development function within our automotive business unit, alongside the automotive business and product managers. This position reports to the Senior Director, Automotive.

 

 

Responsibilities:

·       Develop a segmented view of the in-car infotainment market: customers (CarOEMs), automotive supply-chain partners, and end-users (drivers and passengers). Within that segmented view, collaborate with product managers to identify unmet needs and pain points in the market that Dolby can address.

·       Develop, articulate, and refine value proposition for the abovementioned audiences - customers, partners, and end-users.

·       Stay abreast of industry developments and derive relevant insights for the automotive business. This includes the synthesis of primary market research and reports.

·       Develop positioning of our offerings in the market concerning each other and concerning that from others.

·       Develop and implement Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for Dolby’s automotive offering. This involves identifying the correct sequencing of activities and helping the broader organization understand and execute the GTM strategy. Identify goals for GTM communications.

·       Collaborate with Dolby’s global and regional marketing teams to execute GTM strategy.

·       Monitor the effectiveness of the above GTM strategy elements and adjust course as necessary.

·       Identify and drive the creation of the tools needed to enable the Sales teams.

 

Requirements:

·       4+ years of relevant experience.

·       Deep knowledge of the automotive infotainment industry.

·       Proven track record of delivering full lifecycle projects.

·       Customer facing market development experience.

·       Has successfully taken multiple products to market. Has product marketing DNA.

·       Profound understanding of automotive consumers and purchasing journey.

·       Ability to handle complexity and simplify it for others.
