As a member of Dolby Germany in Nuremberg, you will build up an LED lighting demo room in one of our labs. For the main part of your role, you will be adapting and verifying our light player application. The work will be performed in a collaborative team environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Build up a simple light installation by using LED strips.
  • Install GStreamer framework incl. custom plugins.
  • Configure and compile C source code and build up a GStreamer pipeline.
  • Verify correct setup of software and light installation by using test vectors and scripts.
  • Generate custom light sequences.

 

Qualifications

  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in C is a must.
  • Experience in Git is a plus.
  • Experience in Python is a plus.
  • Experience in programming of individual addressable LEDs (such as WS28xx) is a significant plus.
  • Written and spoken English language skills are mandatory.
