Summary:

 

The project is focused on building out and extending an internal load testing environment where we make use of Kubernetes and publish subscribe architecture patterns to build a highly decoupled architecture within the AWS cloud environment. This enables us to scale to higher numbers on demand.

 

The internship will be focused on building (micro)services that would enable reporting, monitoring and UI functionality by making use of generally available open-source tools. These building blocks will greatly enhance the usability of the environment for our end customers.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Together with team members conceptualize, build, test and deploy services into our load cluster

·  Utilize data analysis tools and other generally available tools to build insights into cost, monitoring and test session analysis capabilities.

 

You will work closely within a small team using agile development methodologies like Scrum/Kanban. 

 

Qualifications:

 

· Students currently in an advanced stage of their Bachelor’s or Master’s programs in computer science and looking to gain exposure to cloud native tools and environments used in the industry

·  Good programming experience in one of Python, Golang, JavaScript or similar programming languages is required

·  Experience using Docker is a plus

·  Working level experience with Git is required

·  Written and spoken English language skills is mandatory

·  Partial on-site office presence in the Nuremberg office is expected.
