Student Worker - Test Automation [f/m/n]

As a member of Dolby Germany in Nuremberg, you will work on our automation test environment. For the main part of your role, you will be adapting our Pytest-based test framework in order to make it compliant with the latest Python and Pytest versions. The work will be performed in a collaborative team environment. You will additionally be an active part of the internal development and improvement of our tests and automation environment.

Responsibilities:

• Update Pytest and Python versions of our test suite.
• Adapt our internal Python packages.
• Improve management of Python package dependencies.
• Adapt test cases if needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in Python is a must.
• Experience in Python packaging & package management is a plus.
• Experience in pytest is a plus.
• Experience in GitLab is a plus.
• Experience in test engineering is a plus.
• Written and spoken English language skills are mandatory.
