The Senior Business Manager role will be part of our cross-functional automotive team based in our Nuremberg office in Germany. Reporting to the Director - Automotive within the Consumer Entertainment business group, you will be a key contributor to shape and grow our automotive business.


In cooperation with Dolby customers and internal functions across Commercial Partnerships, Marketing, Product and Technology Innovation teams, you will work to realize tangible consumer benefits and create sustainable value for our partners. You will create business strategies and their execution plans. You will identify new business opportunities to accelerate our growth. Your research in latest automotive audio market trends will unveil the required insights to allow you to set strategic direction. Your decision making will derive from a smart qualitative and quantitative market data research and analysis.



  • Engineering or Business degree, proven track record of creating outstanding business results in the media entertainment or automotive industry.
  • Expertise in automotive audio.
  • Experience in working in, or with the automotive audio industry.
  • Solid understanding of automotive industry value chain, business models, supply chain ecosystem, and car configuration management.
  • Good knowledge of automotive industry consumer use-cases, behaviors, and experience expectations.
  • Understanding of user experience design patterns and the way to assess consumer value.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate business value and product positioning.
  • Creativity, curiosity and courage!


A plus

  • Experience with car audio equipment, audio signal processing and speaker components, implementation and car cabin acoustic tuning workflows.
  • Experience with media entertainment or car infotainment systems.
  • A “trained ear”, and hands-on experience with car audio.
