As a member of Dolby Germany’s Consumer Entertainment Technology group in Nuremberg, you will support a software process team that aims at taking the company to the next level in terms of software sharing and reusing. As part of an innovative engineering community, you will contribute to defining and implementing new processes as well as to evaluating and introducing new and state-of-the art tools.

 

We are offering a part-time employment (e.g. 12 – 16 h/week) for a student worker.

 

Responsibilities:

  • You will restructure, package and release software components as Conan packages.
  • You will migrate existing projects to a Conan-based dependency management workflow.
  • You will set up automated continuous integration tests for newly released software modules.
  • You will design and create interfaces between tools.

 

Qualifications:

  • You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have experience in SW development with Python, Javascript or C.
  • You know source code management systems like Git or Perforce.
  • You have good written and spoken English language skills.

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience with build systems like Make, CMake or Meson. 
  • Interested in software architecture and design.
  • Experience with package management systems like Conan.
