As a member of Dolby Germany’s QA Group in Nuremberg, you will work on our automation test environment. For the main part of your role you will be writing test cases to verify an internal test framework and adapt python plugins according to our guidelines. The work will be performed in a collaborative team environment involving interaction with other internal groups. You will additionally be an active part of the internal development and improvement of our tests and automation environment.




  • Adapting and documenting python plugins.
  • Writing, adapting and documenting unit tests in a python environment.
  • Automating the test case execution in an existing environment.
  • Developing and improving test analysis tools. 


We are offering a part-time opportunity (e.g. 16 – 20 h/week) for a student worker.




  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in Python is a must.
  • Written and spoken English language skills



Nice to have

  • Experience in pytest is a plus.
  • Experience in GitLab is a plus.
  • Experience with IDEs such as PyCharm or Eclipse is a plus.
  • Experience in test engineering is a plus.
