Field Marketing Apprentice Placement - 24 months

Dolby Laboratories creates audio, visual, and voice technologies for movies, TV, music and gaming.  For nearly 50 years, sight and sound experiences have become more vibrant, clear and meaningful in Dolby. Dolby Laboratories is now focusing on its latest innovations: Dolby Cinema, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision.

 

We have one placement with a start in the 2021/2022 academic year at Dolby France, part of the Europe Geo Marketing Group, which defines and implements the marketing strategy for the region. The apprentice will be supporting the French team locally as well as occasionally supporting pan European initiatives. The placement is based in Dolby Paris offices, but due to Covid19 health regulations, ability to work from home is also required.

 

The successful candidates will gain hands-on experience in:

  • Involvement in B2B and occasional B2C campaigns, with strong focus on digital
  • Involvement in social channels management
  • B2B and B2C Marketing event/tradeshow/festival organisation and execution
  • Supporting PR activations
  • Creation of B2C & B2B marketing assets, collaterals
  • CRM tool management
  • Branding
  • Crafting performance reports 
  • Promo items creation
  • Managing relationships with clients and 3rd party partners
  • Managing agencies relationship
  • Collaboration with sales and engineering teams
  • Collaboration with other Dolby European offices
  • Competition & trends watch
  • Logistics

 

Ideally candidates will be able to demonstrate a:

  • A genuine interest in technology, content distribution and marketing, consumer behavior
  • A previous exposure to digital campaigns &/or social media campaigns or channels.
  • A good understanding of the marketing mix (on and offline)
  • Excellent writing skills and a keen eye for detail 
  • Ability to work in autonomy, remotely if required, and show proactiveness
  • Ability to organise own workloads and prioritise as required
  • Design skills desirable, but not essential (InDesign, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro)
  • French mother tongue and fluent in English, additional language is a plus  

 

Whilst being an integral part of the team, the successful candidate will also need to be able to work with minimal supervision. Previous placements have been very successful and fourteen students have joined as full time employees since this program started in 1999, so we think we can say they enjoyed the experience! We would be very interested in hearing from students with related experience, who are looking for an exciting and rewarding placement. 

 

Applicants should be an undergraduate.
