The Cyber Security Analyst will execute security processes to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Dolby Information Assets. This position requires working with global and cross-functional teams in order to deliver security services, implement security projects, and provide support for various enterprise-wide initiatives. The Cyber Security Analyst will leverage security and technology tools, as well as interpersonal skills to deliver their mission.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Enterprise Security Education and Awareness Program, including program maturity, tool administration, metrics reporting, and identification of process improvement opportunities.
  • Evangelize proper Security practices through the creation of Security Educational Content, Security Communications, Educational events, and direct interactions with Dolby Employees.
  • Serve as the first line of engagement between the security team and the organization and provide Security Service Tier 1 support such as security troubleshooting, inquiries relating to security best practices, and general security Inquiries from Dolby Employees.
  • Provide compliance support on IT General Controls such as Access Management, Change Management, and Computer Operations. Assist in identifying and reporting on security risks and compliance issues.
  • Play a key role in security reporting & metrics, leading to risk reduction, trending, and overall security posture improvements.
  • Manage the Vulnerability Management Program for Dolby, which involves administration of the vulnerability management tool, vulnerability assessment/rationalization, and vulnerability mitigation.
  • Engage and partner with other team members on various projects and initiatives as needed

 

Requirements:

  • B.S. Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or related field with 0-2 years of experience.
  • Coursework or Experience in Information Systems, Information Security, Software Development, Systems Engineering, Networking, and Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Understanding of foundational technology concepts in Systems Engineering, Networking, Cloud, and Information Security.
  • Be comfortable working in a highly technical and engineering environment.
  • Proven history of learning and using security and technology tools. Ability to self-learn/self-taught tools and identify ways to maximize tool usage.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision (i.e., self-motivated and willing to stretch to meet important deadlines).
  • Excellent communications skills (oral and written), presentation, project management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to explain technical jargon in simplified terms. Ability to work successfully in a matrixed, global organization.
