Account Managers (”AMs”) are responsible for the success of our customers. AMs will be dedicated to help both our existing customers as well as future customers achieve their objectives and overcome the challenges, they have achieving these objectives. You’ll be one of the first Account Managers to join our team. Thus, you’ll also get the opportunity to structure a lot of the processes and systems we use and define the culture for future team members.


What You Will Do:

  • You’ll own the ongoing relationship with existing customers to drive activation and engagement of all product features available while also helping the ideal customers select Dolby as their preferred vendor of choice
  • This is the perfect role for someone who wants to stay close to customers at a fast-moving startup and be the main point of contact on behalf of Dolby for the customer
  • Partner closely with Solution Engineering to ensure customer is receiving value add for their key objectives and getting the appropriate responses to the challenges they are facing within a reasonable time
  • Focus on making our customers using Dolby’s products successful (i.e. they are using the product and are satisfied) and managing the customer’s lifecycle from evaluation to post sales and renewal



  • Self-starter attitude and ability to tackle challenges independently
  • Experience in a tech startup space in a customer facing role and okay with ambiguity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Experience in building relationships across complex organizations (with both technical and non-technical buyers)
  • At least 3 years (preferably 5+ years) of customer facing experience in Account Management/CSM/Sales with quota/renewal attainment in the 90% percentile+
  • This candidate we’ll preferably have experience working with technical products, preferably APIs or similar solutions in SaaS or a PaaS models
  • An ideal candidate will have relevant experience in account management or customer success in the API space
  • You have the ability to effortlessly make complex contractual, technical, and financial details sounds simple.
  • Experience partnering with Sales Engineers and working cross functionally with other departments such as support, marketing, sales development, legal and finance
