The Compliance Data Analytics Intern, a member of Dolby’s Intellectual Property Protection (“IPP”) team, will be responsible for processing compliance-related data, performing data analysis to conduct risk assessments, and ad hoc analyses on special projects.



  • Pull data from SAP Web Intelligence and other systems to compile information into risk assessment packages for licensing compliance audits
  • Analyze large data sets in order to provide concise and meaningful summaries
  • Review data for completeness and accuracy, perform data quality checks, and follow up with stakeholders on data issues
  • Collaborate closely with the worldwide IPP team and other business teams on additional data analyses and operational support tasks as requested



  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Excel including pivot tables, vlookups, and complex formulas
  • Experience working with other analytical tools such as Access, business intelligence applications, or SQL is a plus; experience with Salesforce is also a plus
  • Independent thinker with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Shown initiative and ability to manage multiple projects with limited supervision
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively



  • Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analysis, or a related field; recent grads who are within 1 year of graduation are also eligible to apply
  • Must be available to work full-time Monday–Friday for 3-months between May/June 2021–August/September 2021.
  • Start dates for the internship are as follows: (*note* these dates are not flexible)
    • Monday, May 24, 2021
    • Monday, June 14, 2021
    • Monday, June 21, 2021
  • COVID UPDATE: This internship will be remote until further notice. Should conditions change, and we can safely allow employees to return to our campuses, there is a possibility of returning to onsite work.
