SUMMARY

Dolby’s IT Enterprise Applications team is looking for an intern to help take on some application integration projects. You will learn about integration platforms like Informatica Cloud and partner with an experienced developer to provide design and technical guidance. You will have the opportunity to build integrations between enterprise applications and a variety of data sources.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet and learn from individuals from Enterprise applications teams and supporting departments to understand how the organization is structured and works together
  • This role will take the intern through a full lifecycle of one or more application projects, including requirements design, development, testing, and deployment Opportunity to learn enterprise-class application integration design patterns related to data integration and business process orchestration
  • Opportunity to master application integrations by building prototypes

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • The ideal candidate would have strong technical background with knowledge of programming, data sources like files, databases, web services and apis
  • Understanding of Cloud architecture
  • Familiarity with SQL, jQuery, SOAP/RESTful web services desired
  • Good communication, networking, presenting skills
  • Good problem solving, analytical, communication, coordination and task management skills

 

ELIGIBILITY

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field; recent grads who are within 1 year of graduation are also eligible to apply
  • Must be available to work full-time Monday–Friday for 3-months between May/June 2021–August/September 2021.
  • Start dates for the internship are as follows: (*note* these dates are not flexible)
    • Monday, May 24, 2021
    • Monday, June 14, 2021
    • Monday, June 21, 2021
  • COVID UPDATE: This internship will be remote until further notice. Should conditions change, and we can safely allow employees to return to our campuses, there is a possibility of returning to onsite work.
