SUMMARY
We are looking for an intern for the Mobile Audio product management team. This individual will work closely with product management, engineering, sales and marketing to support new projects for Dolby Atmos for smartphones, tablets, and headsets, develop data-driven customer engagement tools based on Voice-of-the-Customer analysis, and run testing and experimentation to define new product features and functionality for mobile audio experiences.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the product team on defining feature sets to deliver the best mobile audio entertainment experience
  • Perform analysis on Voice-of-the-Customer data, mapping and presenting findings for incorporation into the product roadmap for mobile devices
  • Run value proposition testing and experimentation for quantification and development of new feature ideas 
  • Establish quantifiable metrics for gauging and presenting music/video performance in smartphones and tablets and headphones
  • Build data-driven customer engagement tools for sales and marketing across the globe
  • Translate big picture product strategy into detailed requirements and hypothesis-driven proofs of concepts
  • Multi-task and collaborate with broader cross-functional teams to drive decisions and gather consensus

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and strong presentation skills
  • Enthusiastic, resourceful, and comfortable wearing many hats
  • Experience with Excel and data analysis tools a plus
  • Knowledge of customer research methodologies a plus


ELIGIBILITY

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; recent grads who are within 1 year of graduation are also eligible to apply
  • Must be available to work full-time Monday – Friday for 3 months between May/June 2021 – August/September 2021. Start dates for the internship are as follows: (*note* these dates are not flexible)
    • Monday, May 24, 2021
    • Monday, June 14, 2021
    • Monday, June 21, 2021
  • COVID UPDATE: This internship will be remote until further notice. Should conditions change, and we can safely allow employees to return to our campuses, there is a possibility of returning to onsite work
