Senior Software Engineer – Media Cloud DevOps

We are seeking a talented software engineer to help design, build and deploy cloud-native solutions and infrastructure for intelligent A/V content processing and delivery systems. You’ll work with an outstanding team to deliver next-generation scalable, reliable and secure systems based on microservice architecture, cloud media processing pipelines, databases and CDNs.   • Pursue knowledge, growth and excellence in software, DevOps, cloud and media streaming technology
  • Own and drive development of CI/CD pipelines for our media cloud applications
  • Own and drive media cloud features through the SDLC – from concept to continuous deployment
  • Maintain high availability, stability, security and scale for our media cloud CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with cross functional, cross global teams to deliver secure cloud native services at scale
  • Proactively communicate your ideas, proposals, questions and solutions
  • Support your team and build trusting relationships with work partners across the organization
  • Embrace challenge and ambiguity, and adapt to agile and fast paced environments
  • Seek opportunities to innovate, experiment and prototype on new ideas


  • Strong knowledge and experience in several of the following
    • DevOps best practices and tools, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native application deployment
    • Programming and environments (ex. Python, Go, C/C++, Java, Node.js, Ruby)
    • Cloud platforms (ex. AWS, GCP, Azure) and common features (ex. S3, EC2, ALB, IAM, Lambda)
    • Microservices, containerization, orchestration and scaling (ex. Docker, Kubernetes)
    • RESTful web services, API design, distributed systems, concurrency, event-driven architecture 
    • Linux application development, scripting, networking, Git, OSS, sysadmin
    • Test-Driven Development, QA processes and Software Design Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Familiarity with and/or strong interest in learning 
    • Media streaming technology
    • Audio and/or video fundamentals and encoding methods
    • Data analytics
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable 
  • 3+ years professional experience
