Dolby.io is a new developer platform by Dolby Labs that puts decades of Dolby sight and sound technology into the hands of developers to deliver quality in real-time streaming, communications, and media processing solutions — at scale. Summary  

Join Dolby Laboratories in exploring the intersection of science and virtual collaboration. This position is in the Dolby.io Communications API group and will work on designing and implementing computer vision algorithms for Dolby.io SDK .  

Responsibilities  

• Develop and implement computer vision algorithms for real time platforms. 

• Optimize the processing pipeline and integrate the algorithms into Dolby.io SDK 

Qualifications  

• In study towards a M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.  

• Solid coursework or research background in machine learning and image/video processing.  

• Experience with Python, and C/C++.  

• Experience with JS, WebGL and WASM is a plus.

ELIGIBILITY 

Working towards a graduate degree in Computer Science or related field, or demonstrates equivalent experience; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply 

Must be available to work full-time Monday–Friday for 3 months starting from May/June 2023. 

Start date for the internship is as follows: (*note* this date is not flexible) 

• Monday, May 22, 2023 

• Monday, June 5, 2023 

• Monday, June 19, 2023 

The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $45-50/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
