Summary:

Dolby brings innovations in audio and video to many industries with a self-service developer platform. Using Dolby.io APIs will put you at the forefront of technology while helping others to learn how to incorporate media into their own applications. If you are eager to learn, develop, and teach others this may be a good opportunity for you.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements, design, and implement a new sample application
  • Analyze the onboarding experience of different products to make usability recommendations
  • Write tutorials and blog posts to help teach others something about software development

 

Qualifications:

  • A strong work ethic and curiosity for learning new things 
  • A desire to grow your skills and teach others how they can too 
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills for technology-specific applications 
  • Clear understanding and emphasis on usability and design 
  • Familiarity with mobile application development such as Kotlin/Android, Swift/iOS, or hybrid tools
  • Familiarity with web application development and consuming REST APIs

Even if you do not have previous professional experience to meet the listed qualifications, we will consider relevant project, volunteer, and extracurricular experiences, and we encourage you to include them on your resume and apply.

 

Eligibility

Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Must be available to work full-time Monday – Friday for 3 months between January 2023 - April 2023.

 

Start date for the internship is as follows: (*note* this date is not flexible)

  • Monday, January 30, 2023
