As Dolby’s business continues to grow and evolve into a Cloud Based company, we are looking for a Compensation Leader with significant experience to help lead the work and be a strategic partner to the business leaders in setting the philosophy, strategy, and compensation approach for the future growth of Dolby.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

  • Support Dolby’s business priorities, operational goals, values, and culture by leading the design, development, and implementation of global compensation programs
  • Working with the VP of Total Rewards & Operations, drive Dolby’s compensation philosophy and strategy as we embark on transforming Dolby into a cloud-based company and help re-define our compensation approach and structures where it makes sense- base salary, bonus plan design, and equity
  • Strategic advisor to Sr Leadership Team (ELT), People Business Partners, Recruiting and other stakeholders (Finance, Tax, etc.) in all areas related to compensation, both global and sales compensation domains
  • Lead critical compensation programs and processes such as midyear process and year-end rewards process
  • Support VP, Total Rewards in Board & Compensation Committee material preparation
  • Manage, develop, and mentor Compensation team members where they can maximize and fulfill their true potential
  • Lead M&A due diligence, resourcing planning, and integration for the compensation team
  • Work across Total Reward teams in connecting, aligning, and executing the vision of Total Rewards
  • Coach, Develop and motivate direct reports in a positive forward thinking manner.

 

 

Qualifications  

 

 

  • Experience with compensation strategy & design
  • Business & financial acumen
  • Executive compensation experience
  • Strong leader and managerial experience
  • High tech industry experience (preferred)  
  • Track record of increasing responsibilities in the compensation field.
  • Able to anticipate market changes and envision the future strategy
  • Results orientation
