This key role is based in our San Francisco headquarters and also is a remote eligible opportunity.

 

In this newly created role, you will lead the growth of Dolby’s SustainabilityInitiative, including the implementation of science-based targets to meet our goal of Carbon Neutrality by 2030. Reporting to the Senior Director of Social Impact and Sustainability you will work in partnership with Sustainability Initiative Team members, cross-functional working groups, leaders, and external resources to create and implement strategies, practices, and programs to meet Dolby’s climate action goals.

 

Responsibilities: What you will do:

 

•Lead Dolby sustainability strategy including development, implementation, and measurement of science-based target strategies, including 100% renewable electricity, supplier engagement, product enhancements, and sustainable business travel

•Manage ESG reporting and disclosure including the creation of annual Sustainability, CDP, RBA, and TCFD reports in alignment with SEC and EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) requirements

•Build and manage data collection and record-keeping processes to ensure the accuracy and auditability of Dolby’s ESG data

•Align cross-functional teams of internal resources, leaders, and external partners to govern Dolby’s Sustainability Initiative to hit milestones and goals

•Serve as the subject matter expert and voice for Dolby’s Sustainability Initiative representing the company internally with executives, board, and employees, and externally with relevant industry coalitions and investors.

 

Qualifications: What we would like you to have:

 

•10+ years of experience in environmental sustainability, some corporate experience preferred

•Experience in the development and implementation of emission reduction initiatives, preferably science-based targets and/or supplier engagement

•Experience in leading the creation of Sustainability/ESG reports in alignment with SEC and European Union requirements

•Exceptional cross-functional leadership and management skills with the ability to influence leaders, employees, and external resources to meet goals

•Deep knowledge in environmental sustainability, climate change, and ESG, including current trends and regulations

•Strong data management skills and the ability to build and manage auditable record-keeping processes

•Excellent written and oral communication skills for storytelling both internally and externally

•Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred
