Executive Assistant – Dolby Entertainment Group

About the Role

Dolby Entertainment Group is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support our Vice President. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, managing communications, and coordinating key initiatives across the team. The ideal candidate

will be a strategic partner who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and demonstrates exceptional professionalism and discretion.


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Calendar & Meeting Management – Manage and optimize the VP’s calendar, including scheduling, logistics, and preparation for meetings and events.
  • Communication Management – Handle incoming and outgoing communications (email, phone, correspondence), prioritize, and respond or delegate as appropriate.
  • Travel Coordination – Arrange domestic and international travel (flights, accommodations, ground transportation, itineraries).
  • Document Preparation – Draft, edit, and proofread documents, reports, and presentations with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Project Support – Assist with research, data analysis, and report preparation for ongoing projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Event Planning – Organize logistics for internal and external meetings, conferences, and team events.
  • Relationship Management – Act as liaison between the VP and internal/external stakeholders to foster strong relationships.
  • Confidentiality – Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Organizational Excellence – Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills – Strong written and verbal communication with a professional, approachable demeanor.
  • Technical Proficiency – Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Discretion & Integrity – Proven ability to handle confidential information with care and professionalism.
  • Problem-Solving – Resourceful and proactive in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions. 
  • Experience – Minimum of 3–5 years as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting senior-level executives in a dynamic environment.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Concur and expense reports.

 

 

The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $87,900-103,900, which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
