Dolby’s Talent team helps to drive the strategy, processes, and technologies that allow our managers to access great talent to get their work done. We’re a collaborative and curious team, and spend our time solving for the now, while also keeping a constant eye to the future and building towards it; exploring, designing, tinkering, and prototyping.
 
As the Flex Talent Program Manager, you’re a key member of this team in helping us to expand our global capabilities around how we hire temporary workers, contractors, and freelancers. The talent we use to get work done sometimes shows up in traditional and non-traditional ways, and accessing talent through these flexible channels will be a core part of our planning and strategy. We need someone who can extend the talent community beyond traditional boundaries and help us build for tomorrow by leveraging the latest technologies, and maybe building some along the way.

 

Our goal is to create a true total talent management solution to provide all leaders at Dolby with a toolkit they can leverage to find the best solution for the work they need to get done.

What you’ll do

  • Evolve Dolby’s systems and processes towards a total talent ecosystem, and allow managers easier access to non-employee talent solutions on a global scale
  • Manage vendor relationships with our MSP partner and outside vendors to make sure that we have relationships with the right sources of talent for current and future company needs
  • Serve as a thought partner and advisor to leaders to build awareness of the program and help them make better talent decisions for their specific work
  • Own communications, process guides, and workflows for Dolby managers and leaders to help them identify the right solution to the work they are trying to accomplish
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Legal, Finance, and Recruiting to own and streamline processes related to talent selection

 

How you’ll do it

  • You’re an expert in the status quo of contingent staffing, but you can see the potential for more
  • You know there are many ways to get things done, and you have a system to pragmatically choose the best strategy for the given situation
  • You ask why a lot; you strive to understand the current situation, the root cause of any issues, and think holistically about impactful changes
  • You can envision a new solution to a problem, turn that vision into an actionable plan, and rally and drive people to make it a reality
  • You’re a great communicator; you can create guides that explain processes for the end user


What you’ll need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the recruiting space, with significant experience in the contingent workforce space
  • Proven experience in project and/or program management, with some of that experience coming from Recruiting Operations (either full time, contingent, or ideally a blend of both)
  • Experience owning programs with multiple cross-functional stakeholder groups
  • Strong organizational and change communication skills
  • Excellent vendor management experience
  • Working knowledge of employment compliance a very nice to have
