Reporting to the Sr. Legal Operations Manager in our San Francisco headquarters, the Data Analyst will be responsible for broad scale data management as well as ad hoc analyses on special projects.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Work with business to assist the Legal Operations Manager in the requirements gathering process and ensure systems are meeting team goals.
  • Work closely with Legal Operations Manager to build validation tools and other enhancements, including workflow in support of broad-scale data management and analysis.
  • Assist in developing dashboards for data management analyses – identify KPIs, gather and understand the meaningful information to be presented and story boarding dashboard designs.
  • Streamline data collections.
  • Create Salesforce/BI reports on a regular basis for various Legal teams.
  • Monitor, maintain, and analyze data in the Legal Systems for consistency, completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness.
  • Assess data feeds performance to discover ways of enhancing them.
  • Interface with other functional groups to ensure integrity of incoming data feeds with upstream dependencies.
  • Train all teams on data sources, processes, and tools.
  • Create and maintain process documentation
  • Address any issues, questions, and problems in accurate and timely manner.



  • 5+ years of data management and analysis skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or Engineering. Graduate (or equivalent experience) degree preferred
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access. Knowledge of SQL preferred.
  • Experience in managing data reporting, consolidation, and analysis
  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects independently, with minimal direction, and with solid follow through
  • Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communication abilities
  • Experience in technology industry a plus
  • Strong ability to mediate complex cross functional issues and work with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Salesforce, SAP Business Intelligence/SQL/Access experience a plus
