SUMMARY

The Marketing Planning & Ops team is focused on aligning process, planning, and tools to enable quality, consistency, and collaboration within marketing globally and across the larger Dolby organization. The Marketing Ops Senior Specialist will report to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations and help drive initiatives to support the team’s focus. This role will ensure our global marketing organization will get the most from our systems and tools by working closely with team members to identify operational and tool bottlenecks and develop solutions for more efficiency.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports annual planning process by developing and managing materials and coordinating key milestones
  • Lead marketing’s digital collaboration tool utilization by driving ongoing training sessions, implementing new features and design workflows for new use cases
  • Drive ongoing system improvements by conducting check-ins with key stakeholders, troubleshoot roadblocks and apply solutions
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide visibility to Global Marketing
  • Manage digital collaboration tool vendor relationship
  • Thinks creatively to determine how to streamline processes and improve the overall efficiency of the team, including team communication, best practices, etc.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for training processes

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in marketing operations or project management
  • Experience with Airtable or similar program management platform
  • Critical thinker, with ability to problem solve
  • Strong attention to detail, fluent in managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated; able to work both independently with minimum direction and collaboratively within a team
  • Adaptable individual who will establish effective relationships across multiple departments and functional areas
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively, influencing persuasively, able to communicate complex concepts to various audiences in a clear and concise manner
