Software-as-a-service presents an opportunity for us to translate our deep domain expertise in media devices, content, and networks to improve and transform consumer experiences for streaming media services.  You will be at the very beginning of this new opportunity and in a position to help us to develop an up-level quality of service and experiences through media, device, and network-aware processing, delivery, and experience.

 

As the Product Manager of Experience Client Enablement, you will help create the long-term vision and strategy for a diverse set of client platforms and media players to support our platform services.  This is a highly collaborative role, you will own the roadmap and work closely with engineering, technical marketing, ​business development, ​program management, and research from other verticals to deliver data-driven products that meet customer, market, and business needs.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Own and manage the product lifecycle including strategic planning, definition, development, management, and delivery for your products.
  • Be responsible for and define the detailed product requirements and ensure that the product meets the business overall vision, strategy, and goals
  • Develop and communicate clear product vision and strategy, product positioning of current and future, messaging, and value proposition internally and externally
  • Be a contributor to new concepts, methods, or technologies for the development of client ecosystems.
  • Support Sales, Marketing, and Support with detailed product information, product training, and briefings with customers, eco-system partners, and prospects.
  • Develop a go-to-market plan aligning with overall business strategy and provide ongoing product support to fields and regions.
  • Research the competition and provide competitive product analysis.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Education Requirements

 

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management with proven success in product launches
  • Knowledge and experience with Android, iOS, Roku, and or Web\JS media players.

 

Must have experience with one or more of these areas.

  • Knowledge and experience in the Broadcast, Digital Media, or Online Video industry is a plus.
  • Understanding of A/B testing principles and its success metrics
  • Be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptive.
  • Track record of managing a successful software product and product portfolio. Proven experience in managing across the complete product lifecycle, from initial concept to end-of-life.
  • Strong leadership, oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams, both functionally and geographically.
