The Marketing department creates passion and relevance for the "Dolby Difference" driving sell-in and sell-thru of Dolby enabled devices, services, content, and experiences across multiple constituents – partners, creators, consumers, and developers.
We are looking for a talented Product Marketing Manager to join our Home Entertainment group. In this role, you will drive awareness and adoption of Dolby’s solutions that enable premium entertainment experiences across home entertainment devices, for both B2B and B2C audiences.
This critical position plays a key role in generating interest and preference for Dolby’s products and services through storytelling, strategic marketing programs, and the management of high-impact marketing partnerships. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product, business, and sales stakeholders—to develop and execute cohesive go-to-market strategies across the home entertainment portfolio. Additionally, you will work closely with PR, Design, Brand, Digital, Content, Regional Marketing, and Consumer Category functions to deliver integrated marketing plans.
We’re looking for a strategic and analytical marketer with deep expertise in product and industry marketing. You understand the unique value Dolby delivers across devices and platforms and know how to communicate that value effectively. Your skill set includes translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging, conducting market assessments, and executing go-to-market strategies aligned with broader adoption and engagement goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with product management, sales, and organizational leaders to define and deliver coordinated business and marketing goals
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly go-to-market plans in collaboration with marketing and business stakeholders
- Conduct market assessments to define new opportunities or refine existing priorities, influencing product strategy
- Leverage consumer, industry, and market insights to inform and optimize marketing programs
- Create product marketing deliverables including value propositions, positioning statements, user benefits, naming guidance, and brand recommendations
- Translate technical product concepts into clear, engaging communications for diverse audiences
- Lead global initiatives to drive product adoption across business and consumer device segments
- Develop sales enablement materials to support product launches
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support integrated campaigns including email, social media, paid media, PR/AR, and event activations
- Establish and monitor performance metrics, evaluate ROI, and continuously optimize marketing efforts

Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience developing and executing impactful marketing strategies and product marketing plans
- 12+ years of business strategy experience in a strategy consulting firm or equivalent role
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field required; MBA preferred
- Adaptable and versatile marketer with the ability to navigate diverse product categories and evolving business needs
- Strong technical understanding and strategic vision to identify new opportunities and support innovation
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across business, product, engineering, and sales functions
- Results-oriented with a strong track record of successful product launches and measurable impact
The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $206,000 to 283,000, which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
