The Role

Dolby is seeking a relationship‑driven partnership leader who thrives in complex ecosystems and can turn strategy into execution. The Professional Ecosystem Partnerships Manager, Americas, plays a critical role in shaping how Dolby’s audio and imaging technologies are adopted across the professional content distribution landscape.

This role focuses on building and managing strategic relationships with key partners across broadcast, pay TV, OTT/streaming, cloud/IP, and mobile workflows—ensuring Dolby technologies are foundational to both VOD and live streaming ecosystems, not an afterthought.

The position sits within Dolby’s Technology Supply Chain (TSC) organization, which manages the delivery of Dolby’s IP to ecosystem partners with a strong emphasis on quality, security, and predictability. Success in this role requires close collaboration across IP protection, legal, engineering, sales operations, and support teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and grow end‑to‑end relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Professional Ecosystem Partners across the Americas.
  • Drive both strategic and transactional partnerships that expand adoption of Dolby audio and imaging technologies in partners’ products, services, and workflows.
  • Enable seamless integration of Dolby Audio and Imaging formats across professional partner solutions, content originators, and content distributors.
  • Identify, engage, and build relationships with new cloud/IP‑focused partners to embed Dolby technologies in next‑generation workflows.
  • Translate partner requirements and long‑term roadmaps into actionable input for Dolby’s Audio and Vision product strategies.
  • Strengthen Dolby’s leadership across both legacy and emerging broadcast and OTT/streaming ecosystems.
  • Contribute to professional licensing and pricing strategy, ensuring onboarding, ordering, and licensing processes accelerate partner adoption.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination between partners and internal teams, including Commercial Partnerships, Product Management, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Entertainment business groups.
  • Develop and execute account engagement plans aligned to key initiatives such as Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and AC‑4.
  • Build executive‑level relationships, understand partner business models and go‑to‑market strategies, and apply a “sell‑to‑the‑top” approach.
  • Ensure appropriate licensing is in place for trials, demos, and product launches.
  • Collaborate on joint marketing initiatives with partners and Dolby’s Integrated, Field, and Ecosystem Marketing teams.
  • Maintain clear, up‑to‑date documentation of partner activities, initiatives, and plans.
  • Partner with Sales Operations to ensure non‑named accounts are supported efficiently when direct engagement is not required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or business discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, account management, or ecosystem development within media, broadcast, or streaming industries.
  • Strong understanding of content distribution workflows, including broadcast, pay TV, OTT/streaming, and cloud/IP delivery.
  • Experience working with technology vendors, platforms, or service providers in the professional media ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated success building senior‑level relationships and leading complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business value for partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with audio and/or imaging technologies, codecs, or standards (e.g., Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, AC‑4, or similar).
  • Experience working with professional ecosystem partners across the Americas.
  • Background in technical sales, product management, or solutions engineering.
