As a Senior Product Manager, you will help define and drive the future of immersive and interactive entertainment across Smart/AI Glasses, audio wearables (true wireless earbuds/headphones), and head‑mounted displays (XR devices). This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, technology, and business leadership, with end‑to‑end ownership of a portfolio that enables Dolby XR audio and video experiences for consumers.
You will shape the roadmap that brings Dolby’s immersive technologies to life on next‑generation XR devices—guiding concepts from early innovation through launch and scale. In addition to full product lifecycle ownership, you will act as the business owner for this portfolio, with accountability for strategy, execution, and revenue outcomes.
XR is an emerging and rapidly evolving market. In this role, you will help define what entertainment means in this space—bringing colleagues, partners, and customers along the journey. You’ll combine deep subject‑matter expertise with strategic vision, working collaboratively across the organization while operating with a high degree of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the product lifecycle for a portfolio of XR and wearable device experiences, including product vision, roadmap definition, product‑market fit validation, and execution—ensuring solutions reach the market with the right capabilities at the right time.
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration across Dolby teams to deliver a cohesive XR ecosystem, managing upstream and downstream dependencies and ensuring alignment with broader Dolby strategy.
- Serve as the primary bridge between the Entertainment Business Group and the Advanced Technology Group for XR audio and video device products, partnering closely with research teams to translate innovation into scalable offerings.
- Act as a subject matter expert on XR audio and video technologies for immersive and interactive content capture and playback (e.g., 360° and 6DoF experiences).
- Develop and communicate business strategy, building alignment and buy‑in across the organization.
- Partner with Marketing and internal stakeholders to shape and execute impactful go‑to‑market strategies.
- Own revenue planning and execution for the XR and wearables device portfolio.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive product management experience, with a demonstrated track record of leading successful audio and/or video product strategies for consumer electronics devices—ideally including Smart Glasses, HMDs, or audio wearables.
- Strong understanding of multimedia systems and AV SoC architectures, as well as mobile displays and camera technologies.
- Experience collaborating with major consumer electronics SoC suppliers (e.g., Qualcomm, MediaTek, Airoha, BES).
- Ability to engage deeply with global engineering teams, with experience in embedded software, SDKs, and audio and video technologies.
- Audio experience should include spatial audio.
- Video experience should include HDR and 3D technologies.
- Proven ability to build and scale ecosystems, enabling multiple partners to work together successfully.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.

The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $190,300 - $261,500, which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
