We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to lead a team of DevOps Engineers who will have ownership and responsibility of managing 24/7 operation of SaaS infrastructure for intelligent media processing and delivery systems. You are a passionate leader who loves to roll up the sleeves, lead by examples, collaborate, and implement solutions to complex problems. You’ll be part of an engineering organization responsible for delivering next-generation scalable, reliable and secure systems based on microservice architecture, cloud media processing pipelines, databases and CDNs.



  • Lead a distributed team of engineers to own and manage 24/7 operation of media processing and delivery SaaS systems according to a Service Level Agreement
  • Own architecture and technical leadership of the overall DevOps infrastructure & tooling
  • Own and maintain development of CI/CD pipeline for production and testing environments
  • Own development of emergency response tactics\procedures, incident playbooks, and incident simulation exercises
  • Support and own efforts to achieve automation, quality, stability, security, and high availability goals of the systems. Develop a roadmap to optimize the operations together with key stakeholders
  • Develop close collaboration with the customer support and global development engineering teams in tackling and root-causing failures/customer issues
  • Collaborate with development engineering teams to drive development of tools and methods to monitor system health, data analysis for identifying potential issues, seamless software updates, automation related to error detection and mitigation, and cost optimization
  • Collaborate with development engineering teams to implement tools and methods for monitoring, error prevention by data analysis, change management, automation related to error detection and mitigation, cost optimization, and capacity planning
  • Build trusting relationships with work partners across the organization, especially with development engineering teams for ideation and implementation of continuous improvement to the service
  • Own and provide clear and timely updates and status of the service operation and reliability to key stakeholders and leadership
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior DevOps Engineers


  • Experience in deploying and operating highly scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant cloud-based applications according to SLAs
  • Experience with leading support and on-call responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in several of the following
    • DevOps best practices and tooling, setting up CI/CD pipelines and related tools
    • Cloud-native application deployment, reliability, performance monitoring/alerting systems, & Incident management processes and tools
    • Familiar with Cloud platforms architectures (ex. AWS, GCP, Azure) and common features (ex. S3, EC2, ALB, IAM, Lambda), Networking and security, sysadmin
    • Microservices, containerization, orchestration, and scaling (ex. Docker, Kubernetes), terraform
    • Experience with cloud security and compliance. Familiarity with security compliance standards (e.g. SOC, ISO, CSA)
    • Test-Driven Development, agile development practices, automated testing, QA processes, and Software Design Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable
  • 6+ years professional experience in the DevOps field with minimum 2 Years of experience leading DevOps for SaaS applications


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with working in a distributed team structure across different geographical locations
  • Experience with microservices based architectures
  • Experience building out informative monitoring dashboards
