Dolby is looking for a world-class Senior Brand Manager for our gaming vertical to drive awareness, relevancy, desire and adoption of Dolby’s products and tools that enable premium gaming experiences for gaming communities, gamers and developers. 

This new role will help drive interest and preference for gaming through inspiring stories, compelling marketing programs and high value marketing partnerships. As a member of the Brand Marketing team, you will report to the Head of Brand Marketing.  

 

The Senior Brand Manager will work as a strategic and creative marketing visionary to connect our story to the world and quickly develop a spot-on understanding of what differentiates Dolby in gaming. This role will have deep brand marketing and campaign expertise with global experience and knowledge about diverse cultural, social, and business landscapes. Essential skills include a keen understanding of the gaming industry and the community's needs to design and execute go to market strategies in support of the gaming solutions and broader Dolby awareness, adoption, and engagement goals. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product, sales other business leaders to set and deliver against coordinated category marketing goals
  • Oversee the development of campaign deliverables for big Dolby moments and ongoing brand outreach in partnership with other marketing colleagues
  • Identify key data inputs (consumer, industry, customer and market) to inform messaging, creative and overall campaign development and media spend
  • Apply player, market, and product insights, along with business objectives and strategies, to define marketing activation approach, tactics and KPI’s
  • Own the marketing relationship with key audiences including fans, developers and relevant category partners. Build and leverage key marketing partnerships with important category influencers
  • Drive alignment on the marketing plans including consumer targeting, media and communications
  • Translate Dolby experiences into simple, creative, and impactful stories that resonate with key consumer and industry audiences

 

Qualifications / Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in building impactful marketing strategies, creating and executing brand marketing plans in both B2C and B2B contexts
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is required, MBA preferred 
  • Significant expertise in gaming industry across a global context
  • Passion for entertainment – movies, series, live events to games
  • Persuasive storyteller with excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Results and outcome driven. Track record of success in executing consumer and industry campaigns
  • Ability to galvanize and influence stakeholders across disciplines at all levels
